This study, which is entitled ( FAWAZ AL-LA ABUN POETRY: THEMES AND ARTISTIC CHARACTERISTICS), aims to investigate the issues and formation in the five collections (Dawawin): (Fayit Al-Amthal, Tahawim Al-Sa'ah Al-Wahidah, Mizajuha Zanjabil, Ba'duha min Nabd, and Qadamis) by the Saudi poet Fawaz bin Abdulaziz Al-La'boun; to find out the issues that the poet touched upon in the five collections and the tools of formation in his poetry in these collections.
The study has included an introduction to the definition of the cultural and poetic components of the poet, and three chapters; dealing with the content issues in Al-La'boun's poetry, namely: the religious content and identity, the social content, and the emotional content. The study has dealt with the structural characteristics, including the repetition of the word, the antithesis and its aesthetics, the constructive methods, and the actual and nominal sentences and their aesthetics. It dealt with formation that includes poetic rhythm, substitution displacement, synthetic displacement, and intersexuality with the Qur’an and Sunnah, and with poetry and proverbs. This study is concluded with a conclusion that included the most prominent findings and recommendations, and is documented by sources and references. The study has indicated the poet's employment of the technique of satirical literature, and the use of symbols in expressing his issues in various forms and it is properly that the poet's refraction in the emotional contents due to his tenderness and affection. The connection of repetition in the poet's poems has appeared with his psychological conditions, and it seems that the poet's deep connection to the past tense in his poetry; It has been a result of the beautiful memories of that time. (al-Bahr al-Kamil) has been the most poetic metres ; responding to the poet's psychological potential. The poet's ability to establish and employ the proverbs in his poetry has indicated and the poet's commitment to non-sequencing of the two letters of the vowels: "Waw" and "Yaa" in the rhyme. This shall give an indication of the poet's linguistic ability and mastery thereof. The poet's inspiration for religious stories appeared and he used them extensively in his poetry. This has resulted in a lot of intersexuality with the Qur’an. Al-La'boun's poems are distinguished by their shortness, while conveying his message, idea and cause with complete connotations.
