Abstract : The study dealt with the issue of public employee vacations in the Saudi system, and the problem of the study appears in explaining the types of private leave enjoyed by the public employee in the Saudi civil service system and its provisions and comparing it with the Egyptian law; The optimum in relation to its provisions. The study was divided into four topics that dealt with in the introductory topic the concept of public employees and in the first topic the maternity leave, in the second topic the child care leave, in the third topic the leave of deaths and in the fourth topic the accompanying leave. The study raises a major question, which is (the extent of the adequacy of public employees leave in the Saudi system?). The study aims to determine the types of women’s leave in the Saudi system, its importance, wisdom of allocating women without men and clarify the concept of maternity leave, childcare leave, leave of death and accompanying leave, its importance and provisions in both the Saudi system and Egyptian law. The study relied on the analytical approach and the comparative approach. The study found that the social worker’s role towards her family calls for distinguishing it from men so that her social role and her job role in work do not conflict, so it was necessary for the system to give her privacy to regulate her leave provisions. The study recommended that the administrative authorities should sensitize female employees to the provisions of leave for women by holding various courses and open a direct line for inquiries in order to increase employee awareness of their rights and duties.
