We used the online computing job postings in the Saudi market as required skills and the curriculum in the Faculty of Computing, King Abdulaziz University as acquired skills. The presented methodology composed of four stages has been employ using R programming. The first stage is data collection and pre-processing used text mining techniques. The second stage, classification used a Naive Bayes model. Third, measure the closeness between datasets used cosine similarity. The final stage visualized the contents of datasets used word clouds. The presented method benefits the academics and curriculum developers improving the courses and therefore bridging the skills gap.
