Abstract
:
The current study cared about identifying the nature of the values adopted by talented youth, and their contribution to building up social capital, in addition to the dimensions of the relationship between the values of talented youth and social capital. This study belongs to descriptive studies. The study adopted the comprehensive survey method in addition to surveying by the gradual accumulation sample and fortuitous assemble sample. The study used the questionnaire as the main tool for collecting data , as it included the primary variables, moreover to three axes to achieve the study goals and answer its questions , the questionnaire was applied to (107) of talented youth at the centers of excellence, talent and creativity of King Abdul Aziz University. The most prominent results were the availability of rationality value among talented youth. The talented youth have the willingness to accept criticism and expressing. High educational ambition level among Saudi talented youth out of study samples. It has been shown that the economic factor is one of the factors that affecting the occupational decisions for the talented youth. As the majority of the study of study samples give a high value for government work. The talented youth is effective socially, the talented youth give the value to accept and live with the other. The most prominent features prevailing among the peers of talented youth are accepting new ideas, objectivity and moderation. The most prominent consuming cultural practices that characterize the study of study samples are eating healthy foods and exercising sports. It has been cleared out that there is a variation in their eagerness to follow health awareness campaigns organized by the Ministry of Health. The talented youth recognize that the Arab culture can interact with and get benefit from globalization. The most prominent religious values that support the culture of creativity and innovation are perfection. The most important skills and abilities that characterize talented youth are taking responsibility, and the most prominent creative fields preferred to youth are the scientific research. The affiliation to a particular religion comes in the front of the concepts of social affiliation at the study samples, the family members are the closest to them. The most important talented young person's duties in Saudi society is investing scientific outcome in research projects and creative works. As well as, the most important talented person's rights is establishing a national project which adopts initiatives. The study concluded to provide a vision that can support the values of talented youth with relations to social capital in the Saudi Arabian society with the importance of conducting further studies on this topic.
