Abstract : The effect of static magnetic field on some biophysical properties of different samples of distilled water, normal saline, dextrose (5%) and blood serum were investigated. In addition, the effect of magnetic field on the antioxidants activity of blood serum were evaluated. Biophysical properties include pH, boiling points, conductivity and rate of evaporation showed positive effect on applying magnetic field to the samples for different periods, increasing the time of exposure increases the pH, boiling points, conductivity and rate of evaporation values, which may be due to increasing hydrogen bonding and water clusters After withdrawal of samples from magnetic field, the measurements indicated that samples kept magnetization effect for a time, then tried gradually to return to their original values with time, decreasing the pH, boiling points, conductivities and rate of evaporation. The antioxidants activities of blood serum were measured by using Folien reagent, DPPH and ABTS in blood serum before and after exposure to magnetic field. There was a significant increase in antioxidants activities in magnetized as compared with unmagnetized samples. The observations and findings described in the work are of great interest and importance, in a way that they help in applying magnetic treatment devices technology in various fields such as industry, medicine and agriculture to improve water properties.
