Document Details Document Type : Article In Journal  Document Title : Quality Of Diabetes Care In Saudi Arabia Quality Of Diabetes Care In Saudi Arabia   Document Language : English  Abstract : A total of 1107 patients from 20 outpatient clinics were evaluated (54.7% females and 45.3% Males) with a mean age of 55.0 ± 12.6 years. Mean duration of diabetes since diagnosis 9.6 ± 7 years and median HbA1c 8.2 ± 1.8%. Target HbA1c of <7% was observed in 24%. 32% had blood pressure values at the target level of <130/80 mmHg. 50.5% were at target LDL levels of less than 2.6 mmol/L.
